On November 14, 2023, a delegation of 32, led by the Governor of the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy including co-op officials from the same region, visited Japan on an economic mission. During the visit, 11 co-op officials, including representatives from JCCU, the Central Union of Agricultural Co-operatives (JA Zenchu), and the Japan Co-operative Alliance (JCA), met with the delegation.

From August 4th to 5th, 2023, JCCU and the Hiroshima Consumers' Co-operative Union jointly held the "2023 Peace Action in Hiroshima". Since 1991, JCCU has annually organized training program for managers of consumer co-ops and cooperatives in Asia and the Pacific, given them the opportunity to learn about the businesses and activities of Japanese consumer co-ops. This year's program is the first in nearly four years, as the 2020-2022 period was affected by the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under this project, one yen from the sale of every pack of "Core-non-Roll" and "One-touch Core-non Roll" is donated to UNICEF to support its "Child-Friendly Schools" (CFSs) initiative in the Republic of Angola in Africa. In the 12th term, a total of about 10.68 million packs were sold.
