JCCU has been implementing the CO・OP Core-non-Smile School Project since November 1, 2010. Under this project, one yen from the sale of every pack of "Core-non-Roll" and "One-touch Core-non Roll" is donated to UNICEF to support its "Child-Friendly Schools" (CFSs) initiative in the Republic of Angola in Africa. In the 12th term, a total of about 10.68 million packs were sold.

On October 6, a ceremony was held at the Nohi Bus Kamioka office to mark the start of the `Cargo and Passenger Consolidation Business` utilizing public transportation to solve shopping difficulty issues.
"Niji-no-Kai," a voluntary association formed by Okayama Co-op and its business partners, donated sweets, rice, desserts, and other items to 11 children's homes in Okayama Prefecture.
Kyoto Co-op held study sessions on the environment and living creatures on November 5 and 19 at the Kyoto City Zoo and Kyoto Botanical Gardens respectively.
