JCCU and its member co-ops launch Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief Fund

In response to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake on January 1, the JCCU promptly dispatched relief supplies, as requested by the Ishikawa and Toyama Prefecture governments, to the affected areas. Simultaneously, a nationwide call was issued to co-ops, urging them to contribute to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief Fund. The fund is dedicated to supporting reconstruction efforts in the affected areas and assisting the livelihoods of the victims. As of January 5, 2024, Miyagi Coop, Fukui Coop Society, Nara Coop, and Toyama Coop have initiated fundraising activities through their stores and home deliveries.
