JCCU Continues Breast Cancer Awareness Efforts Through the Pink Ribbon Campaign

2026.10.19

JCCU is conducting its Pink Ribbon Campaign to promote early detection and treatment of breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon Campaign is a global awareness initiative aimed at spreading accurate information about breast cancer and encouraging regular screening for early detection.

Every year, October 1 to 31 is designated as Pink Ribbon Month, during which intensive awareness-raising activities take place around the world. JCCU's 2026 campaign runs from September 1 to October 20.

During the campaign, JCCU donates 1 yen for every CO-OP Cosmetics product purchased to J.POSH (Japan Pink Ribbon of Smile and Happiness), a certified nonprofit organization dedicated to breast cancer awareness. CO-OP Cosmetics is JCCU's original cosmetics brand.

The donations help encourage regular breast cancer screening and spread accurate information about the disease.

JCCU has continued this initiative since 2017. In FY2025, its cosmetics campaign generated a donation of 1,005,472 yen. In addition to the autumn campaign, JCCU supports breast cancer awareness activities year-round.

Its mail-order business, Kurashi to Seikyo (Daily Living and Consumer Co-op), which offers catalog and online shopping, also makes donations based on annual sales of all bras. In FY2025, this initiative raised 4,220,783 yen.
