Palsystem Consumers' Co-operative Union will reopen registration for the 2025 Harvest Rice Subscription System. During the rice shortages and price surges in 2024, this system enabled the co-op to supply rice to approximately 210,000 co-op members without any shortages.

In February 2026, nine cooperative managers from five Asian countries visited Japan to participate in the ICA-AP Training Program for Managers of Consumer/Retail Co-ops, hosted by JCCU, the Co-opdeli Group and Co-op Mirai, and Miyagi Co-op.

From January 19-30, 2026, JCCU held its second annual food drive. Staff donated 252 items (63kg) to Food Bank Shibuya, supporting 300 households in need and local welfare organizations.

The 15th donation presentation ceremony for the CO-OP Core-non-Smile School Project was recently held. Over the past year, purchases of designated products helped raise a total of 17,173,080 yen in donations. These funds will be used through UNICEF to support the development of child-friendly schools in the Republic of Angola, Africa.
