On July 21, 2024, the Kure Peace Gathering: "Passing Down the Sorrow of 1945 - Never to be Forgotten" was held at the Hiro Community Development Center in Kure City. Organized by the Co-op Kure Peace Committee, composed of Co-op members from Co-op Hiroshima, the event attracted 76 participants, including members of a local choral group.
