In order to revitalize the operations of member co-ops nationwide, JCCU has established the following three pillars as the business policy for its CO・OP Brand Product business in FY2025.
Recommended CO・OP Brand Products Nationwide Campaign
JCCU has been conducting the "Nationwide Members'Living Support Campaign", a promotion campaign of CO・OP Brand Products that focuses on lowering prices for selected items. In 2025, in addition to emphasizing price appeal, JCCU will also highlight "product value". As part of this shift, for the first time in five years, JCCU will hold the "Recommended CO・OP Brand Products Nationwide Campaign", a popularity vote for CO・OP Products.
Through this campaign, a nationwide vote will be conducted to determine the most recommended CO・OP Brand Products among members, and these products will be widely promoted in various ways across the country. The goal is to foster a deeper appreciation and stronger affinity for CO・OP Brand Products among members. Additionally, a promotional campaign will be launched featuring mascot characters from community-based retail co-ops across Japan.

Nationwide Members' Living Support Campaign
JCCU has reviewed the "affordability" and "quality" of CO・OP Brand Products to ensure that consumer co-ops nationwide can better support "the daily lives of co-op members". To maximize benefits for members, JCCU launched the "Nationwide Members'Living Support Campaign" in FY2024, offering CO・OP Brand Products at special prices throughout the year.
The third phase of the FY2024 campaign was held from September to November 2024, achieving a total turnover of 124% compared to the previous year, both home delivery and stores (home delivery: 126%, stores: 120%, and the number of items purchased: 118%).
This campaign will continue also in FY2025.

Promotion of Ethical Product Sales
In FY2024, the turnover of ethical CO・OP Brand Products developed by JCCU reached 266.1 billion Japanese yen, achieving 108% compared to the previous year. Efforts were made to address environmental issues, such as reducing plastic usage in packaging for existing products. The turnover of Eco Mark-certified products increased to 122% of the previous year, while FSC-certified products grew to 107%.
Sales Trends of Ethical Products
In FY2025, JCCU aims to further expand ethical product development, with a particular focus on obtaining Eco Mark certification. Through the development of ethical products, JCCU will continue to contribute to solving social and environmental challenges.
