"Sustainable Seafood Week 2022" is a campaign organized by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Japan and the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Japan, from October 3 to November 14, 2022, to encourage people to choose MSC and ASC certified sustainable seafood. The campaign was launched in 2014 and is now in its ninth year.

Continuing from last year, this year's theme is "Let's Choose and Protect the Future of Fish."

JCCU actively promotes the development and dissemination of environmentally friendly products. These include "CO・OP Boneless Red Fish simmered in grated radish" certified by the MSC as a product made from environmentally friendly fishery that is properly managed to prevent depletion of marine resources, " CO・OP crispy sautéed shrimps with shells (Garlic & Herb)" certified by the ASC as a product grown in an environmentally and socially responsible aquaculture farm and others.

JCCU supports "Sustainable Seafood Week 2022" and will continue to work for the realization of a sustainable society through efforts such as promoting sustainable seafood.
