JCCU has been organizing Pink Ribbon Campaign each year. One yen from the sale of target CO・OP Brand Product is accumulated and contributed to J.POSH which educates and promotes the early detection of breast cancer. In 2018, the campaign was held from October 1 until November 20 and raised total donation of 1,516,404 yen.
Until 2017, “The Pink Ribbon Campaign” targeted only CO・OP Brand cosmetics selling through home delivery and CO・OP supermarkets nationwide. In 2018, targeted products were extended to brassieres in CO・OP mail order catalog called “Life with CO-OP”. The campaign for brassieres is held throughout the year.
In 2018’s campaign, the amount of donation raised from the cosmetics was about 1.2 million yen, and the brassieres was 279 thousand yen.
On March 15 2019, J.POSH in Osaka held a fund presentation ceremony. JCCU presented a catalog representing the amount to Mr. HIRATA Susumu, Vice-chairperson of J.POSH, and received a letter of thanks in return.
