JCCU Introduces 11 New Products in the "Easy to Take" Series for Conveniently Adding Essential Nutrients

JCCU has launched 11 new products in its "Easy to Take" series, which allows co-op members to easily add essential nutrients such as protein, calcium, iron, dietary fiber, other minerals and vitamins, as well as vegetables and soybeans, to their diets.
These new products are part of the "Easy to Take" series, designed to help co-op members conveniently supplement the nutrients they need in their daily meals.

JCCU continues to advance its "Healthy Co-op" initiative, supporting co-op members' health and dietary needs by promoting better nutrition from everyday meals.
As part of this effort, JCCU has developed the "Easy to Take" line of health-support foods, designed to provide a convenient and enjoyable way to consume essential nutrients, even during busy daily routines. The lineup helps supplement commonly lacking nutrients such as dietary fiber and vegetables and has received strong support from co-op members since its introduction. In a 2025 survey of co-op members, the top five nutrients identified were protein, calcium, iron, vitamin C, and dietary fiber.
Beginning in March, JCCU will introduce 11 new products--comprising seven snack items and four beverages--featuring key nutrients such as calcium, iron, vitamins, and dietary fiber to support healthier lifestyles.

The new products include a fully ripened kabosu drink that provides a full day's requirement of vitamin C in a single carton and contributes to reducing food loss, as well as snacks made from sardines processed into sheet form, allowing co-op members to obtain calcium derived from small fish.
JCCU will continue to develop products that are closely aligned with the voices and daily lives of its members.
Note: The drink uses fully ripened kabosu that cannot be sold as fresh fruit.
