Announcement of 'Popularity Vote for the 60th Anniversary of the CO・OP Brand Products 2020'

As a special event to commemorate the 60th anniversary of CO・OP Brand Products, JCCU held "Popularity Vote for the 60th Anniversary of the CO・OP Brand Products 2020" by co-op members nationwide and the results were published at the end of July.
In that "Popularity Vote," from March 19 to May 20, 2020, many co-op members nationwide voted for their favorite products from a selection of food and household products, including long-selling products that have been favorites of co-op members. In total 966,969 votes were cast, with products favored by a wide range of ages topping the ranking.

1st place: "CO・OP Egg Soup" (48,945 votes)
The freeze-dried soup uses eggs from a contracted poultry farm. The soup uses chicken stock and broth with fluffy eggs spread on it. It was evaluated for its user-friendliness and taste.
"It just tastes good. The egg is soft and fluffy and it matches anything."
"As soon as hot water is added the eggs spread softly, and I like the tender taste of the fluffy eggs."
2nd Place: "CO・OP Boneless Mackerel Simmered with Grated Radish" (46,565 votes)
The Mackerel from Norway contains healthy fat having its bones removed and been cooked a little sweeter. It was evaluated for its ease of eating.

3rd Place: "CO・OP Japanese Style Dressing with Lots of Vegetables" (39,451 votes)
The product uses 4 kinds of domestic vegetables (onion, garlic, shiitake mushroom, and ginger). It was highly evaluated for its outstanding taste that suits various dishes.
