EESC members and JCCU representatives
The purpose of the EESC delegation's visit was to investigate the impact of the Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement and other matters within Japan by visiting various institutions and organizations. As part of this effort, they also visited JCCU and engaged in discussions regarding consumer issues, environmental concerns such as water resources, and the impact of the Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement.
One of the delegates, Mr. Georgi Stoev, expressed his thoughts on the exchange by saying, "We had a fascinating discussion. Personally, I have been interacting with the Japanese consumer co-ops since the 1980s, and I have a strong affection for co-operatives. I am once again deeply impressed by the broad acceptance of consumer co-ops in Japanese society."
