Since 2006, JCCU has been supporting the efforts of the Japan Para-Ski Federation. JCCU conducted the CO・OP Nutrition Support Cookies Campaign from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020 to raise funds to support the Para Nordic Skiing Japan Team. Donations totaling 419,235 yen were raised from member co-ops nationwide.

The CO・OP Nutrition Support Cookies Campaign is an initiative to donate 1 yen from the sale of one pack of "CO・OP Nutrition Support Cookies" to the Japan Para-Ski Federation. The consumer co-ops are encouraging their co-op members to participate in the campaign in the home delivery catalogs and stores in order to make para-sports more accessible to their members. Donations are used for training camps for the junior team that consists of players in their teens and twenties, as well as to cover the expenses of their trips to international tournaments.

A donation presentation ceremony was held in Tokyo on August 18, 2020.

FUJII Yoshitsugu, Managing Director of JCCU in his message stated, "We would like to support the athletes with this campaign. This campaign is significant because it allows us to work with co-ops nationwide and their members."

Mr. SHIINA Shigeru, the President of the JAPAN Para-Ski Federation also gave a word of appreciation by saying, "Thank you for your support. Although we face a difficult situation to participate in the tournament in this coronavirus related chaos, we shall use the donation to expand the player base, nurture the next generation athletes, and to cover the expenses of their international tournaments."
