CO・OP Insurance won the first place in FY2019 customer satisfaction in JCSI survey

CO・OP Insurance, the products of the Japan CO-OP Insurance Consumers' Co-operative Federation (JCIF) won the No.1 Customer Satisfaction in the Japanese Customer Satisfaction Index (JCSI) Survey in the life insurance category for 2019. It was announced on December 24, 2019.
co-op_insurance1.pngThe Japan Productivity Center, Service Productivity & Innovation for Growth (SPRING), an independent organization, backed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), conducted one of the largest customer satisfaction survey "JCSI* Survey" in Japan. The result is intended to be used as useful information for the growth and competitiveness reinforcement of companies and industries. The survey is based on a concrete evaluation of products and services by a total of more than 120,000 consumers. About 400 companies and brands in about 30 industries are surveyed each year and results have been published since 2009.

JCIF has been expanding its business and activities by putting value on members' needs and desires and trying to reflect those needs and desires on their businesses and activities.  
The CO・OP Insurance, the product of JCIF, had ranked 1st in this customer satisfaction survey in the life insurance category for four consecutive years until FY2016, and was ranked 1st again in FY2019 for the first time in last three years. CO • OP Insurance business which is now run by the Japan CO-OP Insurance Consumers' Co-operative Federation (JCIF) was established in 1979 as a business of JCCU.
co-op_insurance2.png JCIF was jointly established by community-based consumer cooperatives and JCCU in November 2008 under the revised Consumer Co-operative Act.  It now consists of 151 Community-Based Retail Co-ops, Kokumin Kyosai co-op (ZENROSAI) and JCCU. (As of March 20, 2019). JCIF offers insurance products that suit members' needs with more reasonable premiums and better coverage.

*JCSI is national cross-industry benchmarks of customer satisfaction which was established by a working group supported by METI for the purpose of competitiveness reinforcement in 2009.
