From September 23 - 27, 2019, Public Health Concern Trust, Nepal (phect-NEPAL) visited two medical co-ops, the Okayama Health Co-op and Kurashiki Health Co-op in Okayama Prefecture.

phect-NEPAL is a health NGO organization based in Kathmandu City, the capital of Nepal. Currently the NGO is working on health promotion activities in collaboration with the government in Kirtipur, which is adjacent to Kathmandu. The purpose of the visit is to learn about how Japanese health co-ops network with the local residents.

The delegates observed member activities of the two health co-ops, and learned about how co-op members manage themselves, how to improve health literacy, and the cooperation between health businesses and member activities.
