On October 13, Typhoon Hagibis hit Japan resulting in major damage including large-scale flood. JCCU wishes to express its deep condolences to the affected people.

JCCU established the disaster management headquarters and is preparing for calling on its member co-ops nationwide for emergency fundraising. Consumer co-ops nationwide have started to deliver relief supplies in cooperation with administrative organizations.

JCCU, together with consumer co-ops and co-op members nationwide will continue to effort for the earliest recovery of the disaster areas.
