In September 2018, JCCU released two types of frozen meal kits, which can be cooked in a pan without defrosting. Having received favorable reviews from co-op members, five new products have been released sequentially from July 1, 2019.

"Frozen meal kit" is a set of ready-to-eat ingredients and pre-blended sauces (frozen items). It is characterized by "one-step cooking" that can be made simply by putting it out of the freezer and frying for about 10 minutes. Also, users can add one’s favorite ingredients. The recommended arrange recipe is posted on the official website of CO・OP Brand Products (https://goods.jccu.coop/), and the QR code of the URL listing the recipe is described on the back of the product package.

In addition, the marine products in the raw materials are Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) or Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certified.

JCCU will continue to increase the variation of the frozen meal kit series.
