From March 28 to 30, 2018 JCCU and Okinawa Consumers' Co-operative Union co-organized the 35th Okinawa old battlefield/American Military base tour for co-op members nationwide. 181 members from 33 consumer co-ops nationwide participated.

This year's theme was " To think about peace in Okinawa, peace in Japan". The tour was in three courses. “The basic course” was organized particularly for people who are participating in the tour for the first time. The "parent-child course" was organized for families with children. "Henoko-Takae Course" offered a chance for a tour mainly aimed to visit places related to existing American bases.
